Weight Loss and Goal Setting

So here it is January 5th, and by now you have probably already have broken your New Years resolution to lose weight.

So what are you going to do now?
Are you going to get back on track or huck it all?

Almost everyone makes a New Years resolution but they don’t actually sit down and plan it out.
I am talking about planning every minute detail of what you can or can’t eat, what you will eat every day or plan each meal out.

I am talking broad weight loss targets for you to reach.

First sit down and decide why you want to lose weight. Once you know the why, the rest will actually come easier.
Then plan out how much weight you would like to lose realistically. Don’t write down 50 pounds if you know that 30 is more likely. You want your weight loss goals to be obtainable–you are more-then-likely never going to have a models body.

Now decide on what type of diet you would be able to stick to.
For me it’s counting calories. This way there is no food that is blacklisted.

Is there a particular part of your body you want to firm up?

Over the next few days we will be looking at how to plan our weight loss.
1. Why we want to lose weight
2. How much would we like to lose
3. What type of diet would we like
4. Fitness goals

I would like you to honestly evaluate your body, find your why’s, and well start to plan.

See you tomorrow,
Patricia
