I like the idea of having the power ramp so that as you get use to your workouts you can power them up. Also the incline makes you burn way more calories.
This is probably one of the nicest ellipticals that I have seen
I found that the Power Ramp that this elliptical has is a feature that will help you continue towards your fitness goals while other ellipticals you may grow out of in a few months.
So what it the Power Ramp?
The Power Ramp allows you to change your elliptical stride so that you can target specific areas. It doesn’t just lengthen or shorten the stride but can actually increase your incline to 30%. This is a very unique feature and if you have ever used an elliptical over a long period of time you will appreciate the benefit that this incline can give you. |

Can you convert revolutions to miles? Is there a conversion method?
Comment by NM — January 19, 2009 @ 10:19 am
Hello NM,
I am not sure what the conversion rate would be - I never thought about it. I bet that if you contacted HealthRider they could provide you with some statistics. Since using an elliptical uses more energy and muscle power than walking they probably won’t have the information listed as steps but they may have time = miles and also time = calories used. I wish that I could be more help to you, I have just never thought to look into it.
