Don’t be too strict when dieting
Diets can be great, they can also be frustrating and can cause you to gain weight.
How can diets cause to to gain weight you ask?
When many people start out on a diet, they are very strict with themselves. They often skip meals to save on calories. They will also get to the point where they are incredibly hungry and cranky.
This then causes you to binge and once you start to continue to eat and eat and you will often find that you have not only gained back the weight that you have lost–but more.
Instead - when you go on a diet be sure to eat what is allowed. So if you diet states that you can have 6 small meals and 2 healthy snacks, don’t miss a meal and be sure to eat your snacks.
This way you never get too hungry or feel deprived. If you find that you are not always hungry and craving your diet will be easier to live with and you will be able to lose the weight that you want without feeling deprived.
